Stripburger at the GRAF festival in the Spanish capital of Madrid!

We’ve already presented our magazine in the Iberian peninsula this year in spring, namely in the Catalan capital of Barcelona at the Gutter fest, where we’ve debuted our semi-Spanish 69th issue of the magazine. The goal of the Stripburger’s offensive this time is the capital of Madrid itself where the 10th edition of the GRAF festival will take place between the 10th and the 12th of November. This is a rather young Spanish festival that ambitiously represents the dynamism and artistic diversity of the comics medium and of the independent publishers’ scene.

Stripburger crew will, apart from their fair booth, present its content and activities with an exhibition of silkscreen posters called “Stripburger in print: 25 years”, while the opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by a discussion about the magazines’s 25th anniversary and it’s winding road it had to walk “from fan-zine to pro-zine”. Proud Stripburger’s team in Madrid will consist of the editors Tanja Skale, Kaja Avberšek and Bojan Albahari.

The international festival offensive continues in December when Stripburger visits Vendetta, the legendary independent graphic and comics festival in Marseille. Stay tuned!
