Join us in New York or online for a deep dive into the history of Stripburger magazine! Since 1992, Stripburger has evolved from a Ljubljana-based experimental fanzine into a global platform for alternative comics. Tanja Skale, editor-in-chief, will take us through Stripburger’s three-decade journey of connecting local scenes with international voices through the magazine, special anthologies, exhibitions, and other events dedicated to promoting the power of comics in Slovenia and abroad.
The event is part of The NY Comics & Picture-story Symposium, a weekly lecture series on comics, animation, and text-image work, exploring production, critical writing, and distribution.
