Stripburger at the Ukmukfukk Zinefeszt 2024

Stripburger magazine has been discovering fresh hotspots and budding shoots of the independent comics scene, new authors and unknown names for more than 30 years, which is why we regularly visit comics and zine festivals in Europe, one of these being this years’ Ukmukfukk Zinefest in Budapest (Hungary) that will take place between the 25th and 26th of May.

Ukmukfukk is a two-day DIY zinefair, focusing on contemporary self-publishing culture. Stripburger will present itself at the 2-day small press market in Gólya, where visitors will be able to browse books, zines, comics and other graphic goodies from international and local artists.

Stripburger will be represented in Budapest by Katja Štesl, a member of the magazine’s editorial board, and Nuka Horvat, an illustrator and comic artist of the younger generation.
