Sit+Read Artbook Fair 2023

Stripburger will be a guest at the Sit+Read Artbook Fair in Timișoara, Romania! Founded in 2017, Sit+Read Artbook Fair is a free and open multi-day event that brings together contemporary artists, designers, zine makers, printmakers, independent publishers, art book distributors as well as hundreds of visitors each year. The fair includes a varied accompanying program for both children and adults, composed of a diverse range of talks, discussions, book launches, workshops and off-site special projects. Each edition showcases the best artist books, diy publications, zines, comics, illustrations, prints, t-shirts, ceramics and more from artists and collectives, studios and artist-run initiatives, zine makers and publishing houses, small presses, independent bookshops, and any creators, both from Romania and abroad.

Stripburger will have a stand at the 4-day art book fair.  On Friday, 27th October at 3 pm Stripburger editor Katja Štesl will talk about Stripburger’s 30-year history of active shaping and co-creating of the independent comics scene in Slovenia and abroad.
